Our School Day
The school day begins at 8.45am and ends at 3.15pm.
Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 (Years 1–6)
- The gates to the playground open at 8.45am and close at 8.55am.
- Children should enter the school grounds through the playground gates and proceed into school via the main entrance door (yellow frame).
- Parents and carers are kindly asked to remain outside the gates and not enter the school grounds.
- A member of staff will be present at the gate each morning to welcome children, pass on messages to staff, or help arrange appointments if required.
Early Years Foundation Stage (Nursery and Reception)
Children should enter through the door to the right of the main office and not through the playground gates.
A member of staff will greet children on arrival and support them into school.
Parents and carers should accompany children to this entrance and then depart once their child has been welcomed into school.
Late Arrivals
Any child arriving after 8.55am should enter via the main entrance and be signed in at reception.
Learning begins promptly at 8.55am, and children arriving after this time will receive a late mark.
It is important that children attend school every day. If your child is too ill to attend please inform the school office no later than 9.00am.
Please ensure any appointments are made outside of school hours where possible. We understand this isn't always possible so in the event that your child needs to attend an appointment during school hours please bring in your appointment card/letter.
Holidays during term time are not permitted unless there are exceptional circumstances, please see our attendance policy for more details. Penalty notices may be issued for unauthorised absences.

PE Days
Children is KS1 / KS2 will take part in PE lessons twice weekly and children will be asked to attend school in their PE kit on this day (weather appropriate clothing must be worn). For more information on PE days please speak to the class teacher.
After School Clubs
We offer a variety of after school clubs which will change each half term. Details of the clubs and how to sign up will be sent out each term via Parenthub.
Nursery Places and Funding
We can offer nursery places to children from the term after their 3rd birthday. Please ask at the school office if you are unsure when this would fall.
Our places are limited due to this being a mixed nursery and reception class and therefore, we sometimes cannot offer places to all that apply.
We offer 30 hour funded nursery places to eligible children. If you are interested in this, please contact the school office for more details.
